Day Workers

Everyday people who have faced terrifying conditions and traveled hundreds of miles to find work wait on street corners in our cities, waiting to be chosen for a day’s labor.  I hire some of these workers to come to my studio and to pose as models.  It is a privilege to hear their stories; their work is essential to the pulse of our daily lives.
